Yeshivas Knesses Yisrael (Slabodka)

The Yeshiva Vilijampolė or Slabada ( Slabodka ) was a yeshiva from 1882 to 1941 in Vilijampolė, a suburb of Kaunas in Lithuania, existing yeshiva. It had 300 (1899) to 500 (1920) students.

History

It was led by Rabbi A. Grodzenskis. 1934 they began to build the new building with three floors. 1940 was nationalized.
