Yi Ik (born 1681)

Yi Ik (* October 18, 1681, † December 17, 1763 ) was a Korean politician and economist of the Joseon Dynasty, who used the brush name Seongho.

Life

Yi Ik is considered a neokonfuzianischer philosopher and thinker. He was a member of the Sarim Party Nam- in ( 남인 南人).
