Yi script
The Yi script, Chinese彝文Yiwen, on Yi ꆈ ꌠ ꁱ ꂷ is used to write the Yi.
The classical Yi script was a logogram font similar to Chinese writing. It consisted of 8000-10000 characters. It is occupied for 500 years, but was probably earlier in use.
1974 has introduced a new font Yi, the Chinese government, the official script of the Yi language in 1980. For her it is a syllabary, consisting of a total of 1,165 syllables. The official Romanization is a slightly modified version of the Pinyin.
