Yi Seo-woo

Lee Seo -woo ( born March 1, 1633 Seoul, † October 14, 1709 ) was a Korean philosopher, poet and politician in the era of the Joseon Dynasty, when Korea was under Manchu rule. He was a follower of 남인 - Party ( ≈ Party of Südmänner ). As a philosopher, he was the successor of the Neo-Confucian thinkers Heo Mok and Yun Hyu. He used the pseudonyms Songgok ( 송곡 ) and Songpha ( 송파 ).
