Yisrael HaMithadeshet
Jisra'el ha - Mitchadeschet ( יִשְׂרָאֵל הַמִּתְחַדֶּשֶׁת, Renewed Israel), is a political party in Israel.
History
Shiluv ( שִׁלּוּב )
On February 23, 1999, shortly before the Knesset elections in 1999, Michael Nudelman and Yuri Stern left the party Jisra'el ba - Aliya founded by Natan Sharansky, to found a new party. Nudelman suggested going to choose as a party name Shiluv ( שִׁלּוּב, migration). However, the proposal was not accepted.
Aliyah: Amenu Lema'an Yisrael Ha - Mitchadeschet ( עַמֵּנוּ לְמַעַן ישראל הַמִּתְחַדֶּשֶׁת )
The proposal to name the party Alija, later found wide acceptance. The party was combined later with another Russian-born immigrant party - Jisra'el Beiteinu. Aliyah ( עלי"ה, migration) goes back to the acronym for Amenu Le - Ma'an Jisra'el ha - Mitchadeschet, namely: עַמֵּנוּ לְמַעַן ישראל הַמִּתְחַדֶּשֶׁת We are the people for a renewed Israel and consists of the following initials of:
- Amenu (Hebrew: עַמֵּנוּ )
- Lema'an (Hebrew: לְמַעַן )
- Yisrael (Hebrew: יִשְׂרָאֵל )
- Ha - Mitchadeschet (Hebrew: הַמִּתְחַדֶּשֶׁת )
Jisra'el ha - Mitchadeschet ( יִשְׂרָאֵל הַמִּתְחַדֶּשֶׁת )
Then it was shortened to Jisra'el ha - Mitchadeschet and candidate in the 2009 elections with Nudelman as chairman.
