Yitzhak Aharonovich

Yitzhak Aharonovitsch (Hebrew יצחק אהרונוביץ, born August 22, 1950 in Jerusalem) is an Israeli politician.

Life

Aharonovitsch studied at the University of Haifa history. In the 1980s, he had the command of the northern part of the border police of Israel, he also led the rescue operations during the two bombings of Tyre. From 2002 to 2004 he was a representative of the Israeli police, after which he worked from 2004 to 2005 was Director General of the Dan Bus Company operates. Next he was on 21 March 2007 until 16 January 2008 as deputy of the party Jisra'el Beiteinu as Minister of Tourism operates. Since 1 April 2009 he has been Minister of Public Security.
