Yoav Shamir

Yoav Shamir ( born 1975 in Tel Aviv, Israel) is an Israeli film director, documentary filmmaker and film producer.

Life

Shamir joined the Tel Aviv University with a Bachelor in History and Philosophy. In the specialist film he won a Master of Fine Arts ( MFA). Since 2001 he was a director in various documentaries that have won awards in part. The funds for the production of his latest documentary 10% What Makes a Hero? were applied to the part by means of online crowdfunding website Indiegogo.com. The film was broadcast arte 27 August 2013 German - French TV channel.
