Yoko Shimada
Yōko Shimada (Japanese岛 田 阳 子, Shimada Yōko; born May 17, 1953 in Kumamoto, Kumamoto Prefecture) is a Japanese film actress. A wide audience it was known in 1980 on the side of Richard Chamberlain in the miniseries Shogun. For the role of Mariko she received in 1981 and the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series.
