Yokogawa Electric

The company Yokogawa Denki K. K. (Japanese横河 电机 株式会社, Yokogawa Denki Kabushiki - gaisha, Eng. Yokogawa Electric Corp.)., listed on the Nikkei 225, ISIN JP3955000009, is a Japanese manufacturer of test and measurement equipment and of systems for automatic production based in Musashino, Tokyo Prefecture, west of Tokyo. It was founded on 1 September 1915. Of the 84 plants around the world in 33 countries, there are three in Germany: Ratingen (since 1989), Weir ( 1991 ) (Rota Yokogawa, formerly Rota, founded in 1909 ) and Mr. Ching ( since 1994). The first subsidiary in Germany was opened in Dusseldorf in 1956. Yokogawa employs over 20,000 people worldwide, including 230 in Germany, and made a turnover of 376.5 billion yen in 2008.
