The Yokohama Rubber Company, Limited ), listed on the Nikkei 225, is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan and manufactures tires. The company was a joint venture with the company Yokohama Cable Manufacturing and BF Goodrich (now Goodrich Corporation) founded in 1917. In 1969 the company expanded to the United States as Yokohama Tire Company. Today, Yokohama is the eighth largest tire manufacturer in the world.
