Yolande Zauberman

Yolande Zauberman (* in Paris ) is a French film director and screenwriter.

The daughter of Polish immigrants studied art history and economics. In 1987 she made ​​her first documentary Classified People, with whom she won prizes at several festivals and was nominated for a César for Best documentary short film. Her second documentary Caste criminelle (1989 ) ran in 1990 on the Film Festival of Cannes.

For her first feature film Moi Ivan, toi Abraham Zauberman was in Cannes (shared with The Scent of Green Papaya ) of the Youth Prize and on the Moscow Film Festival, the Golden St. George awarded in 1993.
