Yongdingmen

The Yongdingmen or Yongding Gate ( Chinese:永定门; Manchu: Enteheme toktoho duka ) is one of the lost city gates of the outer walls of Beijing, which was reconstructed after the turn of the millennium.

The original door system was built in 1553 and 1957, demolished after other representation only in 1971 from traffic reasons. A largely faithful replica was built in 2005 as part of the urban beautification campaign the Chinese capital for the Olympic Games of 2008, and north of it designed a park.
