Yoram Ben-Zeev

Yoram Ben- Zeev ( born July 20, 1944) is a diplomat and by the end of 2007 to end of 2011, Israeli Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.

After his military service from 1962 to 1966 Ben- Zeev studied politics at the University of Jerusalem with a BA in 1970 and MA in 1972. In the 1967 Six Day War, he was wounded. In the diplomatic service, he was subsequently employed in Hong Kong, Manila and Los Angeles.

From 1983 to 1993 he was a foreign policy advisor to Chaim Herzog, after which he was appointed by Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin as the coordinator of the peace process with the Palestinians.
