Yordanka Fandakova

Jordanka Asenowa Fandakowa (also Yordanka Asenova Fandakova written, Bulgarian Йорданка Асенова Фандъкова; born April 12, 1962 in Samokov ) is a Bulgarian educator and politician of the GERB party.

She was elected to the Bulgarian Parliament elections in 2009, which was won by the GERB party in parliament and sworn in on 27 July as Minister for Education, Youth and Science in the government of Boyko Borisov. On November 15, she was at the extraordinary local elections in Sofia ( previously was Mayor of Sofia Boyko Borisov ) elected with 67 % of the vote to the first mayor of the Bulgarian capital, and confirmed in the 2011 elections.
