Yoshio Kushida (Japanese串 田 嘉 男, Yoshio Kushida, born September 19, 1957) is a Japanese seismologist and amateur astronomer.

He is a prolific discoverer of asteroids, the asteroids discovered until today 56 (Jan 2010), 49 together with Osamu Muramatsu. He is also the discoverer of the comet 144P/Kushida and co-discoverer of the comet 147P/Kushida-Muramatsu.

He is married to the Japanese astronomer Reiko Kushida.

The asteroid ( 5605 ) Kushida was named after him.
