You'll Never Know is a song that was composed in 1943 by Harry Warren. The text, which is based on a poem by Dorothy remote Norris comes from Mack Gordon. In the version sung by Alice Faye, it was used as a film song for the film Hello, Frisco, Hello. The song won the Oscar for Best Song at the Academy Awards 1944.

Barbra Streisand took the song in the year 1955 at the age of 13 years. She later released the song on their Albumset Just for the Record. The Albumset also contains a version where Barbra Streisand with her younger I sing a duet.
