You Are Not Alone ( dt: You are not alone) is a song by Michael Jackson which was written by R. Kelly. It rose immediately after the release at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, which had previously not given and thus an official Guinness World Record is (see also: Records on the Billboard Hot 100 ). It was also Jackson's last number -one hit in the United States.

Content

The song is about how a person was left of their love. After it was abandoned, waiting, crying and desperate it every day. Sometime you whisper something in his ear: " You are not alone, I am here with you" ( dt, "You are not alone I am here with you" ).

History

You Are Not Alone was the only love song in Jackson's album HIStory. After the release of the single it went straight to number one in the U.S. charts, the last time that Jackson had a number -one hit in the United States. The eigentlichem author of the song - Kelly - was repeatedly placed under judicial plagiarism.

Music Video

The music video was filmed in 1995. Jackson sings the song there, among others, in a concert hall, but also with Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie Presley, the Jackson was married for two years. In the scenes where Jackson seemed to Lisa Marie Presley, were both almost completely naked, which also led to controversy.

Appearances

Michael Jackson presented the song at the HIStory World Tour, where he barely danced in contrast to the other songs. Even Ton took a woman from the audience onto the stage and sat hug.
