YouGov

YouGov is a publicly traded British market and opinion research institute that operates internationally. In May 2000, founded Stephan Shakespeare and Nadhim Zahawi, which is since 2010 member of the House of Commons for the Conservative Party, YouGov, based in London.

The company works primarily with online panel surveys in which participants receive incentives in the form of money. The data from the surveys will be adjusted by weighting to the population structure.

By YouGov between 2000 and 2007, the results could predict five major elections with an accuracy of one percent in the UK, it gained a reputation of making the most accurate predictions of all British opinion research institutes. In Germany, YouGov is in federal and state elections for media companies in operation. In addition to the election polls, the company also determines market data, such as the fire index, which raises the prestige of 1,000 brands in the UK, Germany, Turkey and the United States daily.
