Youssoupha
Youssoupha ( born August 29, 1979 in Kinshasa as Youssoupha Mabiki ) is a French rapper of Senegalese and Congolese roots.
Biography
Due to the civil war in his native Zaire, now the Democratic Republic of Congo, he fled at the age of ten years with his mother to France. There he grew up in the outskirts of Paris, in the department of Val- d'Oise, on.
Like so many young people in the French suburbs, he also fell under the hip-hop. So he started with 14 years for the first time to write lyrics. According to a feature on a compilation of underground artists, he founded in 1998 with other rappers the crew Frères Lumières. With it he brought out the single Etre né quelque part, however, which was unsuccessful. Youssoupha, who had now made a high school decided to put his music career on hold and go to the university.

He then signed with the label Hostile after his previous label had gone there.
It was followed by some impressive features before the end of 2006 his Mixtape avant l'album appeared. The critics were sure and Youssoupha voted one of the most promising talents of the French oilseed rape. His debut album was in Hostile A chaque frère, which was released in spring 2007.
