The Ytri - Rangá ( Isl outer Rangá ) is a river in southern Iceland. It is a popular fishing rivers for salmon.
Course
The Ytri - Rangá springs north of Hekla and is over 55 km long. Some 10 km south of the village of Hella it flows together with the flux Þverá, which has been previously associated with the Eystri - Rangá. From the confluence of Þverá and Ytri - Rangá the river is called Holsa and flows 11 km into the sea.
