Ytterbium (III ) bromide ( YbBr3 ) is a chemical compound of the elements of ytterbium and bromine. It forms colorless crystals.

Production and representation

Is a representation of anhydrous ytterbium (III ) bromide, by heating the hexahydrate in HBr stream does not succeed, leading to the formation of basic salts.
