Yueqin
The yueqin (月琴, yueqin, also written yue qin, or yueh - ch'in and variously, as gekkin moon guitar, moon zither, la ch'in or laqin called ) is a plucked string instrument of classical Chinese music. There is a tube lute with a round wooden sound body. It has a short, divided by fret fingerboard and four sides, two of which are to be tuned to a pitch, usually on a fifth. In some variants of the sound body is octagonal.
According to legend, the instrument during the Qin Dynasty in China was invented. It is an important tool in the Beijing Opera.
