Yuetang District

The municipality Yuetang (岳塘区) is a city district, which belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city in Xiangtan Hunan province of China. The municipality has an area of 206 km ² and has about 330,000 inhabitants (2003 ). It is the seat of the municipal government of Xiangtan. It lies at the mouth of the river Lian Shui涟水in the Xiangjiang River湘江.
