Yuhki Nakayama

Yuhki Nakayama (Japanese中山 友 贵, Nakayama Yūki, born July 29, 1987 in Kanazawa ) is a Japanese racing driver. It starts in the Super GT since 2009.

Career

Nakayama began his motorsport career in karting, where he was active from 2002 to 2004. Among other things, he was second in the 2004 Asia-Pacific CIK ICA Championship. In 2006 he moved to Formula racing. He initially joined in the Japanese Formula Challenge and was with two wins fourth. It was followed by two years in the Japanese Formula 3 Championship. In 2007 he reached the ninth, 2008, eighth place overall. Overall, he scored a podium placement.

2009 saw Nakayama in GT racing and started for Nakajima Racing in the Super GT. He completed his first season from 16th place in the championship. In the next season, he improved to 13th overall. In 2011, Nakayama, the first podium placement in the Super GT and finished the season in twelfth place in the drivers' standings. Nakayama 2012 remained in the Super GT. After the third race, he was without points. In addition, he participated in a round of the Formula Nippon HP Real Racing.
