Yuichiro Nagai

Yuichiro Nagai (Japanese永 井 雄 一郎Yuichiro Nagai, born 14 February 1979 in Tokyo) is a Japanese football player.

Career

Nagai played since elementary school years for Mitsubishi Yowakai, a support of Mitsubishi Sport Club in Tokyo. After graduating from high school he went to the Urawa Reds, where he made ​​his professional debut on April 12, 1997. In his first season he came on 30 missions and scored three goals. In the summer of 1998, he was loaned for one season to Germany for Karlsruher SC. In 1999 he returned to Urawa. In 2003 he took over the number 9 by Masahiro Fukuda, the Mister Reds.
