Yuli Tamir

July Tamir (Hebrew יולי תמיר, born February 26, 1954 in Tel Aviv, Israel Yael Tamir, Hebrew יעל תמיר ) is an Israeli politician and minister.

Career

Tamir studied biology and political philosophy and political science. From 2003 to 2010 she was member of the Knesset from 1999 to 2001 and Minister for the reception of immigrants. Furthermore, it was from 2006 to 2009 Minister of Education from 2006 to 2007 Minister of Science, Culture and Sport.
