Yulin (Shaanxi)

Yulin (Chinese榆林, Pinyin Yulin ) is a prefecture-level city of Shaanxi province in the People's Republic of China. Yulin is located in the far north of the province, bordering there to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The administrative area of the city has a total area of ​​43,578 km ² ( of which 42 % desert ) and approximately 3.38 million inhabitants ( end of 2004).

History

Culture

Due to the relative isolation remained a considerable amount of classical architecture in the city received.
