The Yum! Brands Inc. is the largest food service restaurant chain in the world. The company was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The German headquarters is located in Dusseldorf, North Rhine -Westphalia.

With an annual turnover of 12.6 billion U.S. dollars in 2011, Yum! Brands one of the largest companies of the fast-food industry.

To the company include Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC ), Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wing Street, Little Sheep Hot Pot and East Dawning. Worldwide it operates in over 110 countries, more than 37,000 restaurants, including about 19,000 outside the United States. Yum! currently has 93 KFC and 73 Pizza Hut restaurants in Germany. Until 2011, A & W and Long John Silver's belonged to the company.

By 2002, the company Tricon Global Restaurants named and belonged until 1997 PepsiCo Inc.
