Yuri Kasparyan

Yuri Dmitrievich Kasparjan (Russian Юрий Дмитриевич Каспарян; * June 24, 1963 in Leningrad ) is a Russian guitarist.

Life

In 1964 he moved with his family to Leningrad, where he still lives today. He graduated from the technical college.

From 1982 to 1990 he was the guitarist for the rock group Kino, parallel to the cinema, he also worked in the Project Pop - Mechanika. He has appeared in a lot of the USSR, Italy, Denmark, Finland, France and Germany. His guitar is heard in soundtracks of films like Gospodin oformitel, Igla and Gusi Lebedi.

From 1990 Kasparjan worked with the Art- band Atrium Drakonowy Kljutschi. He wrote music for concept projects like Drakonowy Kljutschi, Taranawtika, articulation.

In 1991 he played in the band petlja Nesterowa as a session musician, but left it in the same year. After that, he was 10 years musically inactive.

In 1997, he participated as a composer on the project of Sergei de Rokambol Nesakonno Roschdjonny Ili Alchimik Doktor Faust - Pernaty Smei and Zvezdny pADL part.

Since the fall of 2001 Kasparjan plays with Vyacheslav Butussow (former frontman of Nautilus Pompilius ) as a guitarist in the band Ju - Piter.
