Yuri Pantyukhov

Yuri Borisovich Pantjuchow (Russian Юрий Борисович Пантюхов; born March 15, 1931 in Moscow, † 22 October 1981) was a Soviet ice hockey player.

Career

During his career, played the striker at Krylia Sovetov Moscow, MRP Moscow and HK CSKA Moscow. In all, he scored 121 goals in 230 games in the Soviet league. He was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team. On January 9, 1955, he was in a game against Sweden for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with the gold medal at the Olympic Winter Games 1956. For the national team, he scored 32 goals in 68 internationals. On March 15, 1959 he played his last international match. In 1956 he was inducted into the "Russian Hockey Hall of Fame".
