Yuri Skobov

Yuri Georgijewitsch Skobow (Russian Юрий Георгиевич Скобов; born March 13, 1949) is a former Russian cross-country skier who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1970s.

His greatest achievement is winning the gold medal with the Soviet 4x10 km relay at the Winter Olympics in 1972. At this he was also fifth over 15 km. Two years later, he reached the second place in the relay at the World Championships.
