Yuri Urychev

Yuri Olegovich Urytschew (Russian Юрий Олегович Урычев; born April 3, 1991, Yaroslavl, Russian SFSR; † 7 September 2011 in Tunoschna near Yaroslavl ) was a Russian ice hockey player. From 2009 until his death he was at Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Yuri Urytschew began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, for the second team, he was active in the third-class Perwaja League until 2009, first, before 2009/10, made ​​his debut in the Continental Hockey League during the season. In the main round, he played just three games in the KHL team Lokomotiv and spent the entire rest of the time in their junior team in the multinational Junior League Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league. However, during the playoffs for the Gagarin Cup defender was part of the permanent staff in Lokomotives professional team and played a total of eleven playoff games.

The 2010/11 season began Urtyschew parallel in Lokomotives professional team in the KHL, as well as in their youth team in the MHL. On September 7, 2011, he died in a plane crash near Yaroslavl killed.

Internationally

For Russia Urytschew took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 2011, when he won the gold medal with his team. In seven games, he was able to contribute with a goal and three assists to win the title. His only goal in the tournament he scored the quarter-final victory over Finland, in which he scored the intermediate 1-0.
