Yurina Yamada
Yurina Yamada (Japanese山田 优 梨 菜, Yamada Yurina, born 12 July 1996 in Nagano Prefecture ) is a Japanese ski jumper.
Career
Yamada was on 3 March 2009 in Zaō her debut in the Continental Cup, finishing in 28th place. When the second event they again reached the 28th place. In the 2009/10 season Yamada went again at the Continental Cup at the start. After a 29th place at the first competition she managed to improve slightly in the second, finishing in 26th place. At the Junior World Championships in Otepaeae Yamada took the first and only time in part in a jumping outside Japan and managed as 30 just made it into the 2nd round. When COC in Zao Yamada reached 22 as their best result to date in the Continental Cup.
On January 7, 2012, she gave in Hinterzarten her World Cup debut. In the season 2011/12 they then took part only in the competitions on the Zaō hill. In the following season 2012/13 they played only five out of thirteen races and reached thus in the overall standings to 45th place.
With the Olympic debut of women's ski jumping they finished last as Thirtieth.
