YÅ«suke Santamaria

Yusuke Santamaria (Japaneseユースケ·サンタ マリア; born March 12, 1971 in Oita, Oita Prefecture; actually Yusuke Nakayama (中山 裕 介, Yusuke Nakayama ) ) is a Japanese television producer and actor. The stage name Santa Maria he has accepted as a tribute to one of his idols Mongo Santamaría.

Debut

Yusuke Santamaria began his career as a singer in the Latino band Bingo Bongo in April 1994 with the album Wild Pitch. Later, he appeared in the show Asian Beat. Bingo Bongo dissolved in 1997 and Santa Maria began his solo career in television and radio. The breakthrough as an actor came with the series Odoru Daisōsasen - the later the Odoru - Daisōsasen - movies and the decoupling Negotiator Mashita Masatoshi followed.
