Yuzhnoukrainsk

Juschnoukrajinsk (Ukrainian Южноукраїнськ; Russian Южноукраинск / Yuzhnoukrainsk ) is a Ukrainian city with 40 206 inhabitants ( 2013). Juschnoukrajinsk was founded in 1975 and has the status of an independent city since 1987.

The city is located about 400 km south of Kiev Oblast Mykolaiv and has a connection to the expressway network. In the south of the town is the nuclear power plant south Ukraine. The city belongs to the community of four satellite cities (cities that have been built in the vicinity of nuclear power plants ). Geography
