Yvonne Chaka Chaka
Yvonne Chaka Chaka ( b. 1965 as Yvonne Machaka in Dobsonville in Soweto, South Africa, civil Yvonne Mhinga ) is a South African singer who lives in Johannesburg. It is often referred to as Princess of Africa ( dt: Princess of Africa) called.
Life
Yvonne Chaka Chaka grew up in modest circumstances. Her father died when she was eleven years old, her mother worked as a maid for a low income. Chaka Chaka graduated from the University of South Africa Diploma in Adult Education and Public Administration. In 1997 she studied fine arts at Trinity College in London. She is married to Mandlalele Mhinga, who works in the auto industry. The couple has four sons.
As Chaka Ckaka was 19 years old, she had her first hit I'm in Love With a DJ. With this song the disco music of South African coinage was also called " Bubblegum ", popular in southern Africa. This style of music is related to the Mbaqanga. Chaka Chaka was with her alto voice to one of the most popular singers of the country, meanwhile, has released 16 albums and has its own record label and a production company. In many formal occasions, such as the 85th birthday of Nelson Mandela, Yvonne Chaka Chaka was present. She serves on the board of the Johannesburg Tourism Company.
