Yvonne Danson

Yvonne Danson ( Margaret Yvonne Danson, born 22 May 1959 London ) is a Singaporean marathoner British origin.

In 1991 and 1992 she won the Singapore Marathon. She was third at the Beijing Marathon in 1993, and in 1994 she won starting for England bronze at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria in 2:32:24 h 1995 she finished fifth at the Boston Marathon with her personal best of 2:30:53 h.

In the Southeast Asia Games in 1995 in Chiang Mai they represented for the first time in Singapore, after she had married the former Singaporean marathon record holder Tan Choon Ghee. About 10,000 m she took with the current national record of 36:27,39 min bronze. When two days later held marathon she reached the stadium first, but was mistakenly instead of two stadium rounds only.
