Zabumba
The zabumba is a shallow bass drum of Brazilian music with two skins, similar to a bass drum in a marching band. Their diameter is 16-22 ", height 20 cm.
It is played with two mallets, timpani mallets for a deep side and a thin stick ( Bacalhau ) for the high side.
The zabumba is played in various regional music styles such as Côco, Xaxado, forró and Xote.
