Zachary Scott

Zachary Scott ( born February 21, 1914 in Austin, Texas, USA, † October 3, 1965 ibid; native Zachary Thomson Scott Jr. ) was an American actor. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Life and career

Scott made ​​his film debut in 1944 on the side of Peter Lorre and Sydney Greenstreet in The Mask of Dimitrios. A year later, he had great success as a male lead alongside Joan Crawford in a heart beat as long as and in the same year in The Man from the South. Zachary Scott was from 1935 to 1950 with the actress Elaine Anderson, with whom he had a daughter together, and from 1952 until his death in 1965, Ruth Ford, also an actress, married.
