Zafra
Zafra is a Spanish city in the southwest of the province of Badajoz in the autonomous community of Extremadura.
Zafra has 16 762 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) and is 503 meters above sea level. The city is an important industrial center of the province. For five centuries, takes place annually in late September / early October, the Feria Internacional Ganadera instead, a market for livestock. Worth seeing are the Great Square and built by Arabs Small Place. Zafra was founded in the 12th century. A castle from the 15th century is used as a Parador.
