Zagrebačka banka

Zagrebačka banka d.d. ( Zaba, German. Zagreb Bank) is a banking institution from Croatia in the legal form of a joint stock company with headquarters in Zagreb / ​​Croatia and in March 2002 a member of the Italian banking group UniCredit, one of the most successful banking groups in Europe and a leader in Central and Eastern Europe. Zagrebačka banka d.d. is the largest bank in Croatia.

History

The bank was founded in 1914 under the name " gradska Savings Bank " ( " Städtische Sparkasse" ). Since 1977, the Bank trades under the name Zagrebačka banka. The Bank has a large network of branches in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has the largest number of ATMs in Croatia.

The market share of the bank is 25%, both in Croatia and in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Bank is since 1989 a public company listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange since 1995. Since 1996, the shares are also traded on the London Stock Exchange. Furthermore, the shares are traded on the German stock exchange since April 2000.
