Zahna-Elster

Tusker -Elster is a city and municipality in the district unit Wittenberg in Saxony- Anhalt.

Tusker -Elster was born on 1 January 2011 from the merger of the municipalities of the administrative community Elbaue -flaming. Due to a technicality, the incorporation Mühlangers was declared on 29 May, 2013 by the country's Constitutional Court to be invalid, which was validated again on 1 January 2014.

Geography

Districts

Tusker Magpie consists of eighteen districts, divided into eight villages, the latter largely reflect the previously independent municipalities.

The village Zörnigall consists of an older village and the newer settlement, which lies off the northwest of Zörnigall village. These local layers of Zörnigall, and the hamlet Ottmannsdorf and Wolfswinkel, formerly belonging to the municipality both Leetza are not mentioned in the main statute of Tusker -Elster as districts.

History

Incorporations

Prior to the formation of the city Tusker Magpie on January 1, 2011, there were on their jetzigem area several incorporations in founding communities of the city. The incorporations by Tusker took place in the years 1992, 2003 and 2008. Other incorporations, there were 1950 and 1974.
