Zako Heskiya
Sako Cheskija ( Bulgarian Зако Хеския, English transcription Zako Heskija, also Zako Heskia; born September 21, 1922 in Istanbul, † June 3, 2006 in Sofia) was a Bulgarian film director and screenwriter.
Cheskija was with his film " Gorechto Pladne " ( Torrid Noon ) known. It was 1966, the first Bulgarian contribution at the International Film Festival in Cannes and was nominated for the Golden Palm. In 1981, he won with the movie " My friend, the pirate " the Special Prize of the Moscow International Film Festival.
Sako Cheskija worked together in Sofia with the formerly state-owned Boyana film studio.
