Zamudas of Jerusalem

Zabdas (also: Zambdas or Zamudas ) ( † 300 ) was bishop of Jerusalem under Emperor Diocletian.

Very little is known about Zabdas, Eusebius of Caesarea handed only his name, without giving details of his administration. Even the exact date of his term is controversial. While it is usually assumed that the short term around the years 298-300, can be found next to include information, which he had already taken office 276. The only certainty is that he was the successor of the Hymen and was itself replaced by Hermon.
