Zarya (antenna)

The Zarya antenna ( also engl. Zarya antenna) is a special version of the directional antenna for medium wave broadcasting, which can be found at many major stations in the former Soviet Union. It is a long wire antenna, which is mounted on the grounded steel lattice towers with a height of 50 meters, which are placed at a distance of 100 meters.

The length of the Zarya antenna, depending on the frequency range between 1.5 and 3.5 kilometers.
