Zeb un-nisa
Zeb un-nisa (* 1639, † 1681) was a member of the Mughal dynasty.
Zeb un-nisa was born in 1639 as the daughter of the later Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. You probably had a close relationship with her aunt Jahanara. It is believed that Zeb un-nisa wrote poems under the pseudonym Makhfi.
Zeb un-nisa was also active as a patron of scholars ( as of Muhammad Safi Qazwini or her teacher Ashraf Sa'id ).
In Lahore they could create the so-called gardens of Zeb un-nisa, of which only remnants exist today. Like her sister Zinat un-nisa who built homes for Sufis.
