Żebbuġ (or Iż - Żebbuġ ) is a municipality on the island of Gozo, which belongs to the Republic of Malta. It has 1851 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2010) and is located in the northwest of the island, near the towns of Gharb and Marsalforn on a hill overlooking the coast.

The word Żebbuġ in German means olive. For the cultivation of this fruit, the village was known, however, there are only a few olive trees in the area today. Also known Iż - Żebbuġ because of there verfertigten lace-making workshops ( typical of Gozo) and the beautiful places along its coast.

People lived to Iż - Żebbuġ been around for many thousands of years; nearby - on the Kuljat Hill - you will find remains from the Bronze Age and north of it, in the Qbajjar Bay, there are still older artefacts.
