Zeddenick is a district of the city Möckern district Jerichower Land in Saxony -Anhalt.

Geography

Zeddenick is located on the Ehle, about four kilometers west of Möckern.

History

The village was first mentioned in records in 992 as Zobemeh.

On 1 January 2009 the then independent municipality Zeddenick was incorporated into Möckern.

Policy

The current mayor of the municipality is Zeddenick Hartmut Lenschow.

It was a resolution of the Municipality of August 30, 1995 include the most frequently occurring in the village district Lapwing in the coat of arms.
