Zef Gashi

Zef Gashi SDB ( born December 4, 1938 in Peshter ( Brus ) in Lipljan in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia) is religious priests and, since 1998, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Bar in Montenegro.

Life

After completing primary school Zef Gashi occurred in the fall of 1955 the Order of the Salesians of Don Bosco and attended four years in Rijeka the general education school. Afterwards he studied theology in Zagreb, and was ordained in 1969 just as a priest. Until 1992, Gashi was a minister in Pristina and in Peshter. From July 1992 until his appointment as Archbishop, he taught in the Albanian Shkoder on catechetical institute and worked next as a parish pastor.
