Żegota

Żegota [ ʒɛɡɔta ] was the code name for the Council for Aid to Jews (Polish: Rada Pomocy Żydom ), an underground organization in German-occupied Poland, which functioned between 1942 and 1945 and was under the patronage of the Polish government in exile. History
